Retreat on the hill overlooking the Bay of Saint Lawrence. A secluded and quiet place to draw, paint, photograph, write or simply to find yourself. One can walk on the 59 acres for about 1 mile into the forest. Near the end of the property is where provincial land begins and if hardy enough one can travel for many miles into the wilderness. But be advised not to travel that journey without wilderness experience.

200 feet up from the bay, high on the arm of the mountain one can see the whales, dolphins and seals when they come down from the north on the icebergs.
The inside of the cabin. Two bedrooms, one bath and a large kitchen / living area.
Lobster and crab boats coming into the town bay to deliver the catch. Below the fogs of the gulf stream reach over the mountains.

In the time of the winter's grip there is quiet, Time to contemplate, add some wood to the fire and enjoy what God gives to us all. If one continues the road past here and goes 5 more miles you reach the end of the continent but are at a wonderful place called Gampo Abbey A Buddhist Monastery in the Shambhala tradition. http://www.gampoabbey.org/
Mandatory here is enough if not more writing, drawing, painting paper, film and paints because on every turn of the road is an even better and more beautiful scenery.
