Small but Mighty Musk Turtle

This small turtle is often found among the reeds of a pond. It can be one very tough little turtle. It wants only to be left alone in his exploration of the pond’s edge, but small boys find him irresistible and simply have to pick it up for close examination. When that is done it is released to it’s watery domain and swims away with a swift indignant stroke, back to it’s muddy bottom and explorations for food.
